Premier Gastroenterologist(MD/DO) Positions | NY

This is an opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterology Hospitalist. The ideal candidate will be one of the main GI Physicians responsible for the hospital service. This individual will enjoy a special rotation schedule that will allow for life/ work balance. The Medical Center has a state of the art Ambulatgory Services / GI Suite. The physician will be supported by a team of experienced GI and procedural nurses.  

Utilization:

• Provide office hours 2 days, every other week from 3 pm – 7 pm. 1 Saturday every other week from 9 am – 2 pm
• One week on, one week off

Responsibilities:

• Share in office call and hospital coverage rotation
• Provide education for residents, medical students, nursing and other allied health professions
• Participate in Committees as requested by the Chief Medical Officer and/or Chairman of Medicine

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice in the State of New York
• Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology
• Ability to work in a high-paced office environment
• Must be meticulous with documentation, billing and electronic medical records
