EZ Telemed LLC is seeking a qualified Telemedicine Physician to join our team. This role requires a doctor licensed in all 50 states who will primarily focus on conducting medication eligibility assessments and prescribing weight loss medications such as semaglutide. Additionally, the physician will evaluate eligibility for DMV handicap placards and vehicle window tint exemptions based on information provided during asynchronous patient consultations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct medication eligibility assessments and prescribe appropriate weight loss medications following comprehensive analysis of medical data provided through asynchronous patient consultations.
- Evaluate eligibility for DMV handicap placards and vehicle window tint exemptions via asynchronous patient consultations.
- Review and assess digital consultation documents accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with our remote team to ensure timely and thorough patient evaluations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines to safeguard patient privacy.
- Stay updated on state-specific regulations and healthcare protocols relevant to telemedicine and medication prescriptions.
- Ensure all decisions comply with prescribed guidelines and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Professional degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology).
- Licensed to practice medicine in all 50 states of the United States.
- Experience or familiarity with digital healthcare platforms, particularly in a telehealth context.
- Strong analytical abilities and sound decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in digital communication and remote work tools.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace for remote assignments, including access to a printer and scanner.
