Hiring Fully Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, CPC) | Las Vegas, NV
Job Description:
As a Primary Therapist provides individual treatment services for assigned clients, ensuring their success and the success of the treatment facility. Key skills include excellent communication, writing, time management, and the ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct individual and family psychotherapy sessions.
- Lead skills-based, psychoeducation, and process therapy groups.
- Address mental, emotional, behavioral conditions, and eating disorders.
- Facilitate community outings and experiential groups.
- Educate clients and families effectively.
- Train and supervise front line staff to support clients.
- Participate in treatment team planning, discharge planning, and liaison services.
- Communication: Keep clients, families, treatment teams, and referral sources updated on progress and treatment plans.
- Develop treatment plans, conduct initial Biopsychosocial assessments, and create safety plans.
- Record sessions in the electronic medical records system.
- Attend weekly supervision meetings.
- Complete a two-week training for psychometric testing and clinical documentation.
- Work in residential and/or outpatient settings.
- May need to transport residents using a company vehicle.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s or Doctorate in counseling, social work, or related field.
- Registered as an associate or intern as required by the state.
- 2-3 years of mental health experience preferred but not required. Experience in treatment environments and working with adolescents and eating disorders is recommended.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to react quickly in emergencies.
- Technical Proficient in Kipu, ADP, Workday, Lawson, Microsoft Office, and Kronos.
- Must possess a valid Nevada Driver’s license.
- Must be available 24/7 (on-call)
