DirectShifts is actively hiring Radiology Technologists and Technicians to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, following safety protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess and meet patient imaging needs
- Evaluate images for quality, ensuring accurate diagnostic information
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
- Educate patients about imaging procedures and address their concerns
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols
- Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and techniques
- Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure imaging accuracy
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- State licensure in the state of New Jersey
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Attention to detail to produce high-quality diagnostic images
