St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor has excellent full time employment opportunities for Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatry physicians to join the Inpatient Psychiatry Program located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor's (SJMAA) inpatient Psychiatry Program provides patientcentered care and offers a collaborative team approach. The selected candidates will join three Psychiatrists, three Social Workers and Occupational and Recreational Therapists in a locked 24-bed Adult Inpatient Psychiatry unit, in which they will be responsible for 8 to 10 patients. Psychiatrists have a strong Consult/Liaison service, as well as a large group of providers available for support and collaboration. The team works very cohesively and offers high quality clinical care.
The Inpatient Psychiatric Program at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor accepts voluntary and involuntary admissions seven days a week, 24 hours per day facilitated through the Psychiatric Access Department in the Emergency Department.
This opportunity offers a traditional Monday – Friday schedule. Call is expected to be 1:5, shared amongst inpatient providers and consists of one day of call per week, including offsite, overnight call and 1:5 weekend rounding, also shared among inpatient providers.

St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor (SJMAA), a member of the five hospital Saint Joseph Mercy Health System, is an academic teaching hospital and tertiary care center.
