The Anesthesiologist role will be working in the Anesthesiology specialty, located in Ocala Regional Medical Center - ANE Ocala, FL.
Job Details: Ocala Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified anesthesiologist to join the established practice at Ocala Regional Medical Center. This Level II Trauma Center is a 200 bed facility located just south of Gainesville and 90 minutes from the Coast. Highlights of the opportunity include: Anesthesia Care Team growing to 17 physicians and 28 CRNAs Variety of cases: Cardiac (separate team), Orthopedics, General, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Endo, GYN, Robotics, and Trauma. No Peds and No OB. Home call for physicians - Limited with guaranteed post day day off after 1st call, first out 2nd call and only 1 weekend per month. Friendly and collaborative physician/CRNA team. Facility Information: Ocala Health System, a 2-facility health system with 430 beds; located at Ocala Regional Medical Center and West Marion Community Hospital . The Ocala Health system also include 3-free standing Emergency Departments; located in Wildwood, Summerfield and Ocala. Facilities have been consistently growing over the course of the last 5 years, having invested $210 M in capital improvements through 2018. Facility has another $60 M in construction underway to include expansion of ER, OR, and IP Bed Capacity at both facilities. Ocala Health is a high functioning Comprehensive Stroke and Level II Trauma Center, and is the only trauma center or Comprehensive Stroke Center in Marion, Hernando, Sumter and Citrus counties. The facility also leads a growing GME program in partnership with UCF.
