Associate Director of Nursing

Position Summary:

We are looking Associate Directors of Nursing to serve as off-shift supervisors on weekends and holidays. These individuals will be responsible for overseeing nursing operations, ensuring quality patient care, and supporting compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. This leadership role promotes a collaborative environment while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee shift-based nursing operations and ensure adherence to clinical and regulatory standards (e.g., CMS, IHI, CAP).
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to implement patient care protocols and quality improvement programs.
• Monitor staffing, budgets, and operational metrics to ensure efficiency.
• Lead performance evaluations and staff development initiatives.
• Promote a safe, culturally sensitive, and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
• Drive initiatives based on patient and staff satisfaction surveys.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree in Nursing (Required)
2. Current NYS Registered Nurse license
3. Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, including supervisory responsibilities
4. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Shifts : This role is EXEMPT with NO OT Nights: 12a - 8:15a - 5x8 alternating weekends Evenings 5:p - 12:15a - 5x8 alternating weekends
