As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will assume responsibility for the overall assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care on the unit.
Coordinate and control all nursing activities and assume administrative and managerial responsibilities. Monitor patient care to ensure that delivery is consistent with hospital and nursing department policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state DOH, JCAHO, and other accrediting agency standards.
Requirements:
Masters degree strongly preferred.
Minimum 5 yrs acute care clinical experience required. Previous supervisory responsibilities required.
NYS RN license required.
Current BLS required.
