Spanish Speaking LVN/LPN | Part Time | Tampa, FL
Description
We are seeking a kind and friendly Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) or Medical Assistants (MA) to represent our client and support quality primary care for our patients. In this role you will be managing a workplace medical clinic, seeing patients 2-3 full days per week and facilitating telehealth visits on site in Tampa, FL. Bilingual Spanish speaking is a requirement for the role as many of our patients do not speak English. If you do not speak Spanish, please do not apply.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate telehealth visits with patients, including taking vital signs, setting up technology to connect with providers, and interpreting for Spanish-speaking patients.
- Administer vaccinations in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures involving venipuncture to obtain blood samples.
- Support patient care by providing care coordination and responding to patient emails, texts, and phone calls.
- Contribute to clinical marketing materials and participate in active patient engagement efforts.
Qualifications
- Active Florida LPN/LVN license in good standing.
- Kind and empathetic personality with exceptional customer service skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a requirement.
- Availability to work onsite in Tampa, FL for 2-3 days per week.
- Experience administering vaccinations and performing phlebotomy.
- Ability to work independently onsite and as part of a team virtually.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to use electronic medical record systems.
- Current BLS certification and COVID-19 vaccination.
