Overview

We are seeking Board-Certified Dermatologists to provide high-quality virtual dermatology consultations through our secure telehealth platform. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely while helping patients nationwide access timely dermatologic care.

Providers will review patient-submitted medical histories, symptoms, and images, then deliver diagnostic assessments, treatment recommendations, and prescriptions when clinically appropriate. Consultations are conducted asynchronously through our secure web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review patient-submitted dermatology cases, including medical history, questionnaires, and images.
  • Provide accurate diagnoses and evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications when medically appropriate and permitted by applicable regulations.
  • Document clinical findings and recommendations within the telehealth platform.
  • Determine when a patient requires an in-person evaluation for further assessment or treatment.
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations, telemedicine guidelines, and professional standards of care.
  • Respond to consultations within the required service-level agreement.

  • Shingles (Herpes Zoster)

Service Model

  • Asynchronous (store-and-forward) teledermatology consultations.
  • Consultations are available 24/7 through a secure online portal.
  • Providers must deliver responses within 72 hours of case submission.
  • In certain states (Arkansas, Iowa, Idaho, and Indiana), consultations may require a scheduled video visit in accordance with state regulations.

Qualifications

Required

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certification in Dermatology.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license(s) in applicable state(s).
  • Ability to prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Experience diagnosing and treating common dermatologic conditions.
  • Strong written communication and clinical documentation skills.
  • Comfort using electronic health records and telehealth technology.

Preferred

  • Previous telemedicine or teledermatology experience.
  • Multiple active state medical licenses.
  • Experience with asynchronous patient care models.

Patient Eligibility Considerations

Patients who are pregnant, nursing, or attempting to become pregnant are not eligible for online dermatology consultations through this service and may require alternative care pathways.
