Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid for minor injuries and care for sick/injured campers and staff
  • Ensure the health and safety of campers and staff
  • Conduct daily sick call
  • Communicate specific camper health needs to relevant parties
  • Liaise with the medical director and camp director
  • Participate in camp activities and events to enhance the camp experience

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred; CPR certification required
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience
  • Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
  • Ability to explain treatments and conditions to children of all ages
  • Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations
