DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiologist to join our team in providing exceptional heart care to patients in various locations in the state of Texas.
Job Description:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with various cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests.
- Provide comprehensive heart health management, including lifestyle counseling, medication management, and preventive care.
- Perform interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and pacemaker implantation (if applicable).
- Manage patients with complex heart conditions, including those requiring electrophysiology studies or heart failure management.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in cardiology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Valid medical license in Texas State
- Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
