Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist | Inglewood, CA
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our cardiovascular team in Inglewood, CA. This role requires expertise in radiologic imaging within a cardiac catheterization lab, strong knowledge of sterile techniques, and the ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will support invasive cardiac procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment within the Cath Lab.
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety during procedures.
- Monitor patient status and assist with emergency interventions when needed.
- Apply knowledge of imaging protocols to obtain accurate diagnostic results.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize clinical systems effectively.
Qualifications
- Active ARRT (R) certification required.
- State Radiologic Technologist license required (if applicable).
- Fluoroscopy Permit required (based on state regulations).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab required.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
