Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cardiovascular Technologist / Cath Lab Technologist to join our cardiovascular team. This role involves assisting with invasive cardiac procedures, monitoring hemodynamic data, and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, experience in cardiovascular procedures, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular and catheterization procedures.
- Perform scrubbing duties and maintain a sterile procedural environment.
- Monitor and record hemodynamic data throughout procedures.
- Operate specialized cardiovascular and imaging equipment.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Respond effectively to cardiac emergencies during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize computer systems efficiently.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience assisting with scrubbing procedures and monitoring data, preferably in a Cardiovascular Lab.
- Completion of a cardiovascular technician training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification (AHA) required upon hire.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Proficient computer skills.
