Collaborating Physician – CA (Psychiatry / Family Medicine / Internal Medicine)
We are seeking a Collaborating/Covering Physician to support a Nurse Practitioner (NP)-led practice in CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a flexible, low-caseload collaboration role while supporting quality patient care and clinical oversight.
Specialty Preference:
Psychiatry / Family Medicine / Internal Medicine
Location:
California (Must be licensed and credentialed in CA)
Role Responsibilities:
- Review approximately 10 patient charts/clinical notes per month
- Be available for occasional communication via phone, text, or email as needed for collaborative support
- Provide physician oversight in accordance with California collaborative practice requirements
- Participate in brief case discussions or compliance-related conversations when required
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted California MD/DO license
- Strong communication and responsiveness
- Prior psychiatry, behavioral health, or collaborative care experience preferred
Practice Details:
- 100% Remote
- No direct patient care required
- Flexible schedule with minimal monthly commitment
