Collaborating Physician (Family Medicine) – Telehealth Primary Care | SC & FL

About the Opportunity

A Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC, ANCC) is seeking a Collaborating Physician to support the launch of a new telehealth primary care practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who enjoys mentoring and helping build a growing practice from the ground up.

The practice will initially focus on Primary Care, with plans to expand into medical weight management. The NP is looking for a physician who is willing to provide collaboration, guidance, and mentorship as the practice grows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Collaborating Physician in accordance with South Carolina and Florida state regulations.
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to the Nurse Practitioner during the practice setup and launch.
• Be available for occasional consultations and chart reviews as required by state regulations.
• Support the expansion of the practice into weight management services.
• Ensure ongoing regulatory and clinical compliance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO specializing in Family Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted medical licenses in both South Carolina and Florida (required).
• Previous experience collaborating with Nurse Practitioners is preferred.
• Experience in telehealth and/or weight management is a plus.
• Comfortable mentoring a provider launching an independent practice.
