Collaborating Physician (Psychiatry / Family Medicine / Internal Medicine)
About the Opportunity
A growing telepsychiatry practice is seeking a licensed Collaborating Physician to support a multi-state psychiatric practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a low-commitment, fully remote collaboration role with minimal monthly workload.
The practice is scheduled to launch next month and is looking for a physician licensed in multiple states, with priority given to those holding licenses in Texas, Ohio, California, New York, and Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Provide physician collaboration and clinical oversight in accordance with applicable state regulations.
- Review approximately 3–4 patient charts per month.
- Be available for occasional clinical consultation as needed.
- Support a psychiatric practice treating adolescent and adult patients (primarily ages 13+, with the ability to diagnose all age groups preferred).
- Ensure compliance with state collaboration and supervision requirements.
Qualifications
- MD or DO with one of the following specialties:
- Psychiatry (Preferred)
- Family Medicine
- Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted medical license in multiple U.S. states.
- Strong preference for physicians licensed in: Texas (Priority), Ohio (Initial Launch), California, New York and Arizona.
- Previous experience collaborating with Nurse Practitioners is preferred but not required.
