Covering Physician Opportunity – Texas (Psychiatry / Internal Medicine)
We are seeking a Collaborating/Covering Physician to support a Nurse Practitioner (NP)-led practice in Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a flexible, low-caseload collaboration role while supporting quality patient care and clinical oversight.
Specialty Preference:
Psychiatry or Internal Medicine Physician
Location:
Texas (Must be licensed and credentialed in TX)
Key Requirements:
- Must be in-network with Medicare and Medicaid
- Experience working with or familiarity with Tebra EMR preferred
- Strong communication skills and prompt responsiveness required
- Comfortable collaborating with an independent NP-led practice
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide physician collaboration/oversight as required
- Review patient charts and clinical documentation
- Participate in monthly chart review meetings (minimum once per month)
- Be available for clinical consultation and timely responses when needed
- Support compliance and continuity of care for the practice
Commitment / Caseload:
- Low caseload / minimal time commitment
- Minimum once-a-month chart review meeting
- Flexible arrangement with ongoing collaboration as needed
