JOB DETAILS
Occupation: Technicians

Shift: 3 days per week

- Performs CT/X-ray imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the Radiology Department
- Under guidance and approval of site Radiologist, administers contrast agents according to site-specific protocols
- Cooperates with facility healthcare personnel and complies with facility policies and procedures. Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems
- Calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members
- Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality
- Complies with all safety policies and regulations. Performs additional duties as required
Required Experience
- Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology
- Registry in CT preferred
- CPR/BLS Certification required
- One (1) year CT experience required
- Must have NYS DOH IV certification
Certification/License/Registration
- DOH RT License,
- BLS required.
- IV cert. (title 89)
- ARRT License required
Education Requirement
- High School Diploma
