Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist (CT/X-Ray) to join our imaging team. This role requires strong clinical experience, technical expertise in radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging, and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both mobile and stationary imaging equipment and committed to accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic and CT imaging procedures as ordered.
- Operate both mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
- Ensure proper patient positioning to obtain accurate, high-quality images.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and adherence to radiation protection standards.
- Apply knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology in imaging procedures.
- Review images for quality and completeness before submission.
- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize computer systems effectively.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support diagnosis and care.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of acute clinical radiology experience preferred.
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State Effective 07/01/2015
- CT ARRT Certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA) required upon hire.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Experience with mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment required.
- Proficient computer skills.
