Job Description:
- We are actively seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the combined Medical/Surgical/Telemetry department.
- This role provides a dynamic opportunity to deliver comprehensive care to patients with diverse medical and surgical needs, utilizing telemetry services for continuous monitoring.
Responsibilities:
Medical Care:
- Provide nursing care to patients with various medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patients' medical conditions, responding to changes promptly.
Surgical Care:
- Assist in the preoperative and postoperative care of surgical patients.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Telemetry:
- Implement telemetry monitoring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring.
- Monitor and analyze telemetry data, identifying and responding to changes in patients' conditions.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems for comprehensive patient records.
Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively within the Med/Surg/Tele team and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to care planning.
Requirements:
- FL state RN License - required
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing school
- ACLS
- BLS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate a caring demeanor toward others.
