**$500 Sign on Bonus***
Pay rate - $840 - $980/Shift
(Due to CA state laws; 4 hours of each 12 hour shift is paid 1.5x your hourly rate)
Hiring for Registered Nurses in the Medical Surgical and Telemetry Departments. Registered Nurses II at the practice at a high-level of professional autonomy in a fast-paced teaching environment. Typical duties include assessing, planning, evaluating, and implementing patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy, as well as administering medications and treatments, performing documentation, and educating patients and families on their healthcare options.
Job Description:
- Assist in providing care to patients
- Operate medical equipment in the operating room
- Monitor patients’ conditions during the procedure and afterwards
- Monitor vital signs
- Perform CPR and administer medications
- Assist with drawing blood, preparing specimens, and administering injections
- Perform other nursing duties for assigned patients
- Experience: One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience as a licensed registered nurse
Licenses and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing
- Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills
