Registered Nurse (RN) | ICU | Night Shift

Shift Timing: 6.45 PM to 6.45 AM

Department: CVICU Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Job Description:

  • As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU, specifically in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), you will play a pivotal role in the care of critically ill patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Your responsibilities will encompass a range of duties tailored to the unique needs of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).

Responsibilities:

  • Specialize in the care of patients with cardiovascular diseases, including post-cardiac surgery and cardiac procedures.
  • Monitor and interpret advanced hemodynamic parameters and cardiac rhythms.
  • Collaborate closely with cardiovascular surgeons, cardiologists, and other specialists in the provision of comprehensive care.
  • Administer specialized medications and interventions for cardiovascular support.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of advanced cardiac procedures and interventions.
  • Document detailed and accurate records of patient care, including cardiac assessments and interventions.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing school
  • Previous experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is highly preferred. 
  • FL state RN License - required 
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Knowledge and competency in both interventional and diagnostic procedures.
