Department: Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU)

Shift Timing: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Job Description:

  • As a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at our Atlantis, FL location, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care during the night shift. 
  • The Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) is a dynamic and critical care environment where you will contribute to the well-being of critically ill patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and compassionate nursing care to patients in the MSICU.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting and responding promptly to changes.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Operate and manage advanced medical equipment and technology within the ICU setting.
  • Document patient care accurately and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Educate and support patients and their families, providing information on treatment plans and recovery expectations.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
  • Experience in critical care or intensive care nursing is preferred.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of critical care nursing practices and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and medical advancements in the field.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse healthcare team.
