Job Description:

Our healthcare team in Miami, FL, is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within the Intermediate Care Unit.
As an integral part of our team, the PCU RN will play a vital role in providing specialized care to patients with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments of patients and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Monitor and manage patient's conditions, recognizing and responding to changes promptly.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Utilize critical thinking skills to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Florida.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum of experience as an RN, with a focus on progressive care or intermediate care nursing.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

Certification in Progressive Care Nursing (PCCN) or related specialty.
Experience with telemetry monitoring and advanced cardiac care.
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
