Position Details:
Location: Rome, NY
- A facility is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN).
- The requirement includes a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Mandatory certifications comprise Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Preferential consideration for candidates with Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and NIH certifications.
- Preference is given to those with prior travel experience.
- Mandatory NIH Stroke Certification, along with 8 hours of CEUs, is required before starting.
Unit Details:
- The Emergency Room consists of 14 beds, along with 4 beds for Minor Treatment.
- The nurse-patient ratio was maintained at 4:1.
- The facility handles approximately 31,000 annual visits.
- Charting procedures are carried out using the T system.
- Mandatory prerequisites include NIH Stroke Certification along with an additional 8 hours of CEUs.
