Responsibilities:
- Operate Imaging Equipment: Operate head or body x-ray scanners to create computed axial tomography (CAT) scans.
- Patient Preparation: Educate and prepare patients for their examinations.
- Patient Care: Provide essential patient care for various procedures.
- Medical History: Take patient medical histories before exams.
- Positioning Patients: Position patients to demonstrate desired anatomy.
- Technical Parameters: Set appropriate technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology accurately.
- Patient Safety: Ensure the safety, mental, and physical comfort of patients.
- Supervision: Work under the supervision of a board-certified radiologist while maintaining a high degree of independence and responsibility.
