Full Job Description
Madera Community Hospital is a 106-bed non-profit, private General Acute Care Hospital. MCH is a healthcare leader dedicated to quality care with compassion, and superior outcomes for the patient. Nursing positions available, HFAP accredited, Health grades 5 star and Service of Excellence Awards hospital in the heart of California. The Hospital serves community patients from Madera County, Northern Fresno County and Southern Merced County.

Staff nurse responsible for safe and appropriate patient care, for providing instruction, direction and supervision subordinate unit staff, serving as a resource for all departments.

Work requires thorough and advanced knowledge of the nursing process, patient assessment and nursing standards, knowledge of the California Nursing Practice Act, hospital policies and procedures, intermediate pharmaceutical, math skills and knowledge of management and assignment personnel.
Must possess good verbal and written English communication skills. Peripheral IV experience and skills required. Good time management and prioritizing skills. Computer experience preferred.

License/Registration/Certification:
Must be currently licensed by the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
Must possess current American Heart Association Certification in Basic CPR.
ACLS preferred.
