|Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital a 295 bed regional facility along with Cumberland Anesthesia Associates is seeking a BC/BE Anesthesiologist to join our team. Successful candidate would be able to treat adults and healthy pediatrics down to 6 months of age. Types of cases would include: neurosurgery, general surgery, urology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, GI and Pulm. Call would be divided evenly among the group for the month. The group provides coverage for all inpatient cases and one surgery center on our campus. Ideal candidate would practice general anesthesia with other fellowships as an asset. The need is now. We will welcome Residents, Fellows and experienced applicants. The ideal candidate would participate in our Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residency Program by shadowing our resident and students on anesthesia rotations as needed..

General Burnside Island State Park is Kentucky’s only state park located on an island and offers a peaceful retreat for campers, boaters and golfers. Four additional golf courses call the area home, as does Daniel Boone National Forest and Cumberland Falls State Park. Cumberland Falls – the “Niagara of the South” – boasts the Western Hemisphere’s only moonbow, in addition to white-water rafting, hiking and canoeing.
Somerset also plays host to the Center for Rural Development, which brings nationally recognized performing and visual arts, concerts and other special events to the community, as well as the Somernites Cruise, the state’s largest car and cruise show.
