Our team has a broad knowledge base and pride ourselves in being experts in providing care to a variety of medical issues, including caring for patients who are preparing and recovering from surgery. At the core of who we are, we embody inter disciplinary care. This means we coordinate and collaborate with all providers in touch with a patient, thus ensuring continuity of care throughout their hospitalization up to when they are at home. As a member of our team, these core values will be integral for you to be successful in this position.
Because of the variety of patients we see, you will be given the constant opportunity for excitement and experience. This means you should have the ability and willingness to: work closely with team members, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and have the desire to work closely with skilled surgeons, other physicians, nurses and support staff in all areas of specialty, including trauma cases. Our Central unit is a 28-bed unit and 5 West is a 52-bed unit; both are expert in caring for patients with Covid-19 diagnosis.
