Position: Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and empathetic Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) to join the team. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care to our residents and patients. Your assistance and support will contribute to their overall well-being and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents and patients under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and assistive devices as needed
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure coordinated and effective care
- Document resident information accurately and promptly in electronic health records
- Respond to resident needs and emergencies in a timely and compassionate manner
- Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere for residents, promoting their autonomy and independence
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents, ensuring safety and hygiene
- Participate in team meetings, training programs, and continuous education to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Valid CNA certification in New York.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in caring for people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and assist with resident’s mobility
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
