Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The Radiologic Technologist will perform high-quality radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging results. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays according to physician orders.
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and cooperation.
  • Position patients and imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images.
  • Follow radiation safety standards and ALARA principles.
  • Maintain and operate radiology equipment properly.
  • Verify patient identity and imaging requests prior to procedures.
  • Assist radiologists and physicians with imaging procedures when required.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the PACS/RIS system.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control standards.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required or eligible.
  • State Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable).
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and radiation safety.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic imaging.
  • Experience with digital radiography (DR) and PACS systems.
  • Experience in hospital or outpatient imaging center settings.

Work Environment

  • Hospital, outpatient imaging center, or physician clinic.
  • May require evening, weekend, or on-call shifts.
  • Ability to lift or assist patients when necessary.

💡 Typical Salary Range (USA):

About $60,000 – $90,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and facility
