Hiring Bilingual Outpatient Therapists in Gilroy | CA
Provide individual, group, and family therapy, as well as crisis and case management, to clients aged 6-21 and their families. Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical leadership and maintain treatment plans in compliance with Santa Clara County Mental Health and agency policies.
- Conduct assessments, create safety plans, and provide therapy (individual, group, and family).
- Collaborate with clients, caregivers, referral sources, and program staff to align on treatment goals and discharge plans.
- Maintain documentation, including assessments, progress notes, and reports, per compliance standards.
- Ensure confidentiality, mandated reporting, and adherence to relevant laws and ethics.
- Participate in meetings, committees, and quality improvement activities.
- Promote cultural competence and transformational care principles.
Qualifications:
- AMFT, ASW, APCC, or equivalent with current California BBS/Board of Psychology registration.
- 1+ year experience working with children and families in mental health settings preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
- Valid California driver’s license with an insurable DMV record.
Skills:
- Proficiency in evidence-based practices (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, CBT, trauma-informed care).
- Strong problem-solving, crisis intervention, and communication skills.
- Professionalism, leadership, and adaptability in high-stress environments.
