Shift: Day Shift

  • We are looking for a devoted and skilled Contract Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist (CVCST) to work in our Operating Room(OR). 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring aseptic techniques.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields with surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to anticipate and fulfill their needs during procedures.
  • Pass surgical instruments and supplies to surgeons with precision.
  • Monitor and document surgical counts to maintain patient safety.
  • Assist in transporting patients to and from the operating room.
  • Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety measures.
  • Contribute to a smooth workflow in the Cardiovascular OR.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and surgical best practices.
  • Maintain a commitment to patient care and safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist (CVCST) is required.
  • Previous experience in a cardiovascular surgical setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in aseptic techniques and operating room procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic healthcare environment.
