Hiring Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Job Description:

• Provide skilled clinical and administrative support to healthcare professionals in a medical setting.
• Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort.
• Perform vital sign measurements, EKGs, and specimen collection with precision and accuracy.
• Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Manage patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and coordinate referrals as needed.

Education:

Must have completed a program with ONE of the following accreditations:

• Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
• Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists
• Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC)
• Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS)
• Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
• Formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces.

Certification:

Must have ONE of the following:

• American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• American Registry of Medical Assistant (ARMA)
• National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
