Hiring Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Job Description:
- Provide skilled clinical and administrative support to healthcare professionals in a medical setting.
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort.
- Perform vital sign measurements, EKGs, and specimen collection with precision and accuracy.
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and coordinate referrals as needed.
Education:
Must have completed a program with ONE of the following accreditations:
- Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
- Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists
- Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC)
- Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS)
- Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
- Formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces.
Certification:
Must have ONE of the following:
- American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- American Registry of Medical Assistant (ARMA)
- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
