Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality radiologic exams with a focus on venous structures (e.g., upper/lower extremity venograms, fluoroscopic guidance for vascular access, etc.).
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures following established protocols.
Operate fluoroscopy and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist physicians during vein-related procedures, such as:

Venous ablation
Sclerotherapy
Venography
Vascular access procedures

Maintain proper use of contrast media and adhere to all safety protocols regarding radiation and infection control.
Maintain accurate patient records and enter imaging data into the PACS and EMR systems.
Collaborate with vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, and vein clinic staff.
Monitor patients during procedures for adverse reactions or complications

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Certification:

ARRT (R) certification required.
State radiologic technologist license (if required by the state).
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
