Hiring Full-Time, Permanent NPs/PAs | Newington, CT
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Internal Medicine team in Newington, Connecticut. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality primary and internal medicine care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and the broader healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care and internal medicine services
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history and physical examinations
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Perform routine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope of practice
- Manage follow-up care and chronic disease management
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation in the EMR
- Educate patients on preventive care, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Connecticut
- Prior experience in Internal Medicine, Primary Care, or a related specialty preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) required
Compensation: $120,000 – $135,000 annually (based on experience)
