Associate Director of Nursing (RN) – Brooklyn, NY
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Nursing (RN) to oversee the daily operations of the Nursing Department and support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure quality resident care.
Assist with staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
Lead performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Nurse Managers and nursing leadership.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care.
Conduct routine rounds, investigate resident care concerns, and ensure adherence to facility policies.
Support recruitment, retention, staff education, and NYSDOH survey preparation.
Requirements:
Active New York State RN License
3+ years of progressive Nursing Administration experience
MDS knowledge required
Master's (M.S.) in Nursing or a related healthcare field preferred
Completion of an Orientation Program in Caring for Persons with AIDS required
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | 37.5 hours/week | On-call every other weekend
