Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 Hours per Week | 8-Hour Shifts

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Patient Services Representative to join our dental team in Manhattan, NY. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out. You will manage appointments, answer patient inquiries, assist with treatment plan coordination, and support the daily operations of a busy dental practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet patients in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
  • Follow up on missed appointments and cancellations.
  • Register new and returning patients accurately.
  • Collect and post patient payments and charges.
  • Assist patients with treatment plan scheduling and financial arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and appointment schedules.
  • Check and respond to voicemail messages daily.
  • Ensure the reception and waiting areas remain clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical team and Office Manager as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 6 months of Denticon experience in a dental practice.
  • Experience handling multi-line phone systems and appointment scheduling.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a dental, medical, or other healthcare office.
  • Knowledge of dental insurance plans, including HMO and PPO.
  • Experience with patient billing and financial arrangements.
