Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for direct and indirect care given to assigned participants in compliance with state regulations, professional standards of practice, physician orders, and individual health plans.
Verifies participant information by interviewing participant; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit.
Prepares participants for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting participant history summary.
Notifies physician of participant's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments and significant incidents.

Requirements:

AAS or AS in Medical Assisting preferred.
Experience working with persons with psychiatric disorders preferred.
CMA (AAMA) certification required.
CPR/First Aid certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience
