Hiring Mental Health Therapist - Watertown / Lowville, NY
Position Overview
THRIVE Wellness and Recovery is seeking Licensed Therapists to join its clinical team in Watertown or Lowville, NY. The therapist will provide person-centered behavioral health services to individuals receiving mental health and/or substance use disorder support.
This is an in-person, full-time W2 position with a Monday–Friday schedule.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold an active New York State license in one of the following:
LMSW – Licensed Master Social Worker
LMHC – Licensed Mental Health Counselor
LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Experience in mental health, substance use disorder treatment, community behavioral health, or related settings is preferred.
Schedule & Location
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–5:00 PM
In-person
Location options: Watertown or Lowville, NY
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and/or group behavioral health services.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions based on client needs.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with other members of the care team.
- Support individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges.
- Connect clients with appropriate community and supportive resources.
- Participate in care coordination and other clinical activities as needed.
- Maintain compliance with applicable New York State and organizational requirements.
