⏰ Schedule: 40 hours/week | 8-hour shifts

Position Overview

Join a patient-focused dental practice committed to delivering exceptional oral healthcare. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and the clinical team to provide outstanding patient care while supporting efficient day-to-day dental office operations. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment and instruments are ready for patient care.
• Welcome, seat, and prepare patients for dental procedures while ensuring their comfort.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a sterile field.
• Sterilize, organize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Take and develop dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations.
• Mix and prepare dental materials for restorative procedures.
• Fabricate temporary restorations and polish removable dental appliances, as appropriate.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-treatment care.
• Accurately document patient treatment and clinical notes in electronic health records.
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and safety protocols.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and ensuring the clinic remains clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Support emergency preparedness by maintaining CPR certification and emergency equipment.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program OR at least six (6) months of hands-on Dental Assistant experience.
• Current 6-hour X-ray Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Nitrous Oxide Certification.
• Coronal Polishing Certification.
• Previous experience in a general or multi-specialty dental practice.
