Position Overview
Join a patient-focused dental team dedicated to delivering exceptional oral healthcare. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work alongside dentists and clinical staff to provide preventive and therapeutic dental care while ensuring an outstanding patient experience in a collaborative practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, including removal of plaque, calculus, and stains above and below the gum line.
- Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive dental care.
- Review and document patient medical histories and treatment records.
- Operate Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) equipment, when applicable.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards.
- Assist with inventory management and other clinical support duties.
- Collaborate with dentists and the dental team to provide high-quality patient care.
Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
- Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist License.
- Current CPR Certification.
- X-ray certification/training.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on Dental Hygienist experience.
- Experience with Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) equipment.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Preferred
Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented dental practice.
