Job Description:

  • Currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit(PCU) within the Cardiovascular Step-Down Unit (CVSU).
  • This role involves providing critical care to patients in the CVSU department.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patients in the Progressive Care Unit, specifically the Cardiovascular Step-Down Unit.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions and responses to treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting observations, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues regarding patient care plans and progress.
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and emergencies, initiating appropriate interventions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state.
  • Certification in Progressive Care Nursing is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Experience in Progressive Care or a Cardiovascular Step-Down Unit is preferred.
