Registered Nurse (RN) – Orthopedic Rehab / Inpatient Rehabilitation – Nights
Location: Lancaster, SC

Position Summary
Join MUSC's growing Inpatient Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Spine team. The RN is responsible for providing safe, competent patient care, educating patients and families, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, and supporting patients as they recover and regain independence following orthopedic procedures, spine surgeries, injuries, and rehabilitation treatments.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Care for orthopedic, spine, and rehabilitation patients requiring ongoing nursing support.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the healthcare team.
Educate patients and families regarding recovery goals, mobility, discharge planning, and disease management.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and rehabilitation staff to optimize outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
Promote patient safety and quality care initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Active South Carolina RN License or Compact State RN License.
Current AHA BLS Certification.
2–3 years of recent RN experience in Orthopedic, Rehabilitation, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or Acute Care settings preferred.
Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
