Hospital Laboratory Supervisor

Healthmark Regional Medical Center is seeking a fully certified, experienced Laboratory Supervisor. The Lab Supervisor must have a BS Degree and a Florida Supervisor License. Will supervise all department staff, and fulfill the duties, responsibilities, schedules and other standard personnel issues associated with the laboratory.

Should also be able to maintain specimen preparation procedures, develop and implement analytical procedures, report results according to protocols mandated by the hospital and public health department.

**Should be able to maintain laboratory equipment, maintain quality standards, ensure staff compliance, certify instrument performance and arrange equipment replacement, service, and repair.
**Should have phlebotomy skills, knowledge of inspections, knowledge of API and AAB proficiency programs, experience with seimens and beckman coulter.
**Should be prepared to work the bench and be able to perform any and all staff laboratory duties.
**Will also order medical laboratory supplies and monitor staff workload, while maintaining security and confidentiality. Be sure to include a phone number with all correspondence.
