DirectShifts is seeking BC/BE Interventional Pain Physician to work in Clyde NC. This is an ongoing locum tenens opportunity. This client is recruiting for a perm as well.
Schedule is 1 day per week coverage of in-hospital interventional pain service. Open to Thursday or Friday ongoing. Potential to expand to two days per week on Thursdays *and* Fridays.
Procedures and services: Epidural steroid injections; Intercostal nerve blocks; Trigger point injections; Facet injections; Brachial plexus injections; Head and neck injections; Intrathecal infusion systems; Hypogastric plexus injections; Stellate ganglion blocks; Peripheral nerve blocks; Celiac plexus blocks;
Botox injections; Outpatient chronic pain mgmt.
Diagnostics: Discography; Diagnostic Nerve Blocks
Conditions Treated: Cancer pain; Work injuries; Joint pain; Scar pain; Spinal stenosis; Coccydynia; Costochondritis; Post-operative pain; Phantom limb pain; Craniofacial pain; Chronic back pain; Trigeminal neuralgia; Peripheral neuropathy; Discogenic pain; Myofascial pain syndromes; Reflex sympathetic dystrophy; Spondylosis pain
Supplemental Privileges: Use of Fluoroscopy for Diagnostic and Therapeutic Pain Management, to include interpretation of the results of these studies as well as injection of contrast material into the spinal canal and neuroforamen*, Placement of Permanent Spinal Devices such as the Tunneled Epidural Catheter, Spinal Narcotic Infusion and Spinal Cord Stimulator Insertion and Management*, Facet Nerve Ablation, Selective Nerve Ablation*, Spinal Neurolytic Block for the Treatment of Cancer Pain* -
Supplemental privileges require: Letter or certificate from Residency or Educational Program Director documenting clinical experience and training or evidence of current credentialing and experience from this or similar institution is needed before a request can be considered.
