Job Description:
- Seeking exceptionally bright nurses who apply critical thinking abilities to handle complications and promptly communicate signs and symptoms.
- The nurses joining the team are expected to have empathy and possess passion.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support the entire labor and delivery process, ensuring the well-being of both the mother and newborn.
- Collaborate closely with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate a positive birthing experience.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, promptly addressing any complications.
- Administer medications and pain management techniques as required during labor.
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Currently actively licensed as an RN in Florida
- Prior experience in RN Labor & Delivery is preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Preferred certifications are ACLS, BLS
