Job Description:

Department: Catheterization Laboratory

Shift: 6:30 AM- 3:30 PM

  • We are seeking a dedicated Contract Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Catheterization Laboratory team. 
  • In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with various cardiac procedures within the Cath Lab department. 
  • Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to prepare, assist, and monitor patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
  • Administer medications and ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
  • Operate specialized equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain a sterile and organized environment within the Cath Lab.
  • Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes or concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, providing clear explanations and addressing inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in TEXAS.
  • Prior experience in a Cath Lab or critical care setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cardiac procedures and related medical equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
