We are seeking a U.S.-licensed Telemedicine Physician to join the Fitcura team. In this role, you will conduct virtual consultations, evaluate patient eligibility, and manage safe prescribing practices for both compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. Your clinical expertise will guide patients on their weight loss journey while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Virtual Patient Consultations: Conduct telemedicine visits via our secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to evaluate patients for weight loss therapy.
- Clinical Assessment & Prescribing: Review patient histories, determine eligibility for GLP-1 and tirzepatide therapies, and prescribe compounded medications while providing thorough education on usage, dosage adjustments, and potential side effects.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all practices comply with telehealth regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our clinical team to refine treatment protocols and optimize patient outcomes, leveraging the dual action of tirzepatide on both GLP-1 and GIP receptors for enhanced weight management.
Qualifications:
- Active U.S. medical license in all states except Alabama (AL), Michigan (MI), Mississippi (MS), and California (CA).
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, or Obesity Medicine is preferred.
- Experience with GLP-1 medications (such as semaglutide) and familiarity with tirzepatide’s dual receptor mechanism (GLP-1 and GIP) is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote telemedicine environment with strong communication skills and a patient-focused mindset.
